Ken’s experience with organ donation began in 2004 when Mary was first told she needed a lung transplant. He like Mary felt families should not have to make the choice of saving their family or saving their house. Together with Mary they founded Transplant Alliance Foundation. Ken’s experience as a business leader and his years of being Mary’s caregiver makes him uniquely qualified to lead the board of directors. He oversees all charitable operations and is the voice of Transplant Alliance. Working with the board and working with the executive team Ken is able to ensure the foundation is constantly growing, constantly helping and constantly looking for revenue streams.
John Boyes
Board Secretary
John is a donor family member. His experience with organ donation began in 1998. At 10-years old John became a donor family when his father passed away. In 2004 when his mother Mary was first told she needed a lung transplant John felt the pain once again. He knows firsthand the pain of losing his father and troubles transplant recipients like his mother go through
post-surgery. His compassion for life and his family makes him a great fit for the foundation.
