February 2025 Spotlight/Mission Monday
Each month, the Transplant Alliance Foundation highlights an individual who has either given the gift of life through organ donation or is in need of a transplant. In their honor, we proudly display their story in our Bingo Hall and host a special Mission Monday event on the last Monday of the month to raise funds and support their journey.
This month, we bring awareness to organ donation and honor the incredible journey of Chiantia “Tia” Uryce Bond Miller. Tia left us far too soon on January 8, 2025, at just 42 years old, but her impact continues to shine. Born on December 11, 1982, and a proud mother, wife and friend, Tia devoted her life to lifting others up. Even in passing, she performed one final, selfless act—donating her liver, lungs, and kidneys to save multiple lives.
A Legacy of Giving: Special Scholarship Fund
To honor Tia’s incredible spirit, we are establishing a scholarship fund in her name for the 2025-26 academic year at Phoenixville Area High School (In which she was a proud graduate of). Proceeds from the Mission Monday event and any donations received throughout the month, will support students who exemplify Tia’s commitment to community, kindness, and service, ensuring that her legacy continues to inspire future generations.
